.There should be another category. Government spends excessively and inefficiently. Therefore, the total tax burden is too high.

While reading this article, it occured to me that Marcus Bachmann is in a damned if you do or don't situation. Had he refused service to Medicaid patients he would have been labelled as rich and uncaring.

Edwards can prove his position beyond question. All he has to do is provide documentation that he paid income tax on the $925,000 in gifts. His mistress should be preparing to do the same.

Well lets see. Both Republicans and Democrats believe that increased domestic production of petroleum is in the best interests of this country. The percieved benefits include increased market competition against foreign suppliers, employment, and tax revenue.

Time for a R.O.I evaluation of this government exercise. Has there been any measurable contribution to peace? If not, this appears to be another well intended initiative that has not functioned as intended and has created incremental problems that are not being addressed.
